This close-up picture of a paper clip is the latest entry on my photography blog, which I started around this time of the month last year.
The blog is picking up a steady traffic over the last one year and has also attracted text link advertisers.
Recently I received an email from a blogger overseas, asking if it was possible for him to insert several paragraphs of 40-50 words containing 3-5 text links for US$10 per paragraph into the “prime blog entries” of the photography blog.
He said it would be a one-off payment. I’m still thinking whether to accept the offer. I think I’m going to renegotiate the term… to include the element of time; i.e US$10 per paragraph for a period 18 months, and not a one-off payment. I hope the traffic will continue to increase.
