If you are using Internet Explorer or Firefox browser, or any other browsers at all, watch out for Wednesday (that’s today, Malaysian time) or Tuesday (American time).

Today, Google, the Big G, will release its browser, called “Chrome” which is targeted at challenging both the IE and Firefox.

I seldom use IE. I only use it at the office, because that’s the only browser installed on the office computers and we, the staff, had no “admin” authority to install any software we want to install.

We are supposed to use the computers only according to what they are supposed to be used — as office computers. We don’t even have the permission to install another browser, like Firefox. Heck, we can’t even change the clock setting on the computer even if it’s displaying the wrong time.

At home, I use Firefox and Flock browsers alternately, depending on what mood I am in. Both browsers have its own strengths and I wonder how Google’s Chrome could fit into the already crowded field of browsers — IE, Firefox, Flock, Safari, Opera, Konqueror, Netscape Navigator…

Anyway, as a consumer, I guess it can only mean one thing — I can now have another option to browse the Internet, this time the way Google think the Internet should be browsed.
