You might notice the lack of update in this blog of late but this is not the case of another blogger biting the dust. I have not quit blogging. In fact, I’m eager to resume this passion of mine but for several reasons that prevented from doing so.
I’m moving… from one country to another. Or to be precise, from Singapore to Malaysia. My term in Singapore has recently ended and I am being transferred back to headquarters in Kuala Lumpur. Prior to my transfer, I have also been extremely busy with work.
On the afternoon of November 23, my last day in Singapore, I drove out of the island city for a four-hour journey to Kuala Lumpur. On arrival, I checked-in at a three-star hotel and launched what was to be a very frustrating efforts to find a house I can call home.
As I am writing this, I am still stucked at the hotel where I checked in last Friday. I could not find a suitable home with the rent I can afford. They are either too far away from my workplace or too expensive.
I am near desperation now. I am to report for duty at headquarters on Monday and I need to find a house by the weekend, by hook or by crook. Once I got my house, I shall apply for a phone line and an Internet connection.
Once I had all the infrastructure in place, I shall resume my blogging activities. There are two things I plan to do after this: to really learn how to make money blogging, and to learn how to make money doing freelance writing.
