BlogRush Removes 10,000 Blogs From List, To Introduce “Thin Widget”

A while ago BlogRush sent emails to members, updating them of latest developments on the blog syndication network.

Basically there are three things according to the email. Firstly, they had done cleaning up BlogRush by removing no less than 10,000 blogs from the list. Meaning, from now on, only quality blogs will be listed on BlogRush.

The fact that I have not been removed from the list goes to show, this blog meets the criteria set by BlogRush.

Secondly, it’s to tell members about an upcoming upgrade to BlogRush and according to the email, we can expect to see in the next few days an all-new dashbord, advanced statistics reporting and more.

Thirdly, is to tell that BlogRush is introducing what it said a “thin widget”, which as its name suggests, would be thin enough to fit into the narrow sidebars of many blogs. Mine is okay though, I could still use the standard size widget.

I definitely look forward to the changes BlogRush is coming up with.

Congratulations on surviving the Blogrush slaughter … My blog that has 1 commercial link in it and loads of useful content thats updated nearly daily got banned..

I am not upset about this but furious that sites with loads of adverts and commercialization have survived because of the amount of traffic they have.

it seems to be 1 rule for some and 1 rule for another.

Hi Mark,

Sorry to hear about your BlogRush widget. You site definitely looks okay to me. I don’t feel being spammed at all when I visited the site yesterday..

Anyway, as they say, life goes on.
